Just Saying Hello

All my life, I have had this urge to write. I would write poems, stories, and songs that I never thought anyone would read. So I never told anyone about them. For years, I kept my words hidden in a small notebook, never letting it see the light of day. Never, until one day, I randomly decided to show my best friend and our teacher. Thanks to those two, I decided to start this blog to finally show everyone else what I write. I hope you enjoy it!

A couple of weeks ago, I saw a boy I had once spent several years crushing on. I saw him and almost had a heart attack. Just seeing him that day sent me home reminiscing about my Elementary school years, and the good times I had then. I went home, my thoughts spinning, and started writing about it. This story starts out as a true story, everything I remember from my past. Eventually though, it spins off into different directions, and I have no idea where it will end up. One foot in front of the other Emmalee, one in front of the other. I have to tell myself to keep walking as if I didn't just see the one person I'd hoped I would never see again.
